About This Quiz
The World Grand Prix in Dublin is unique among PDC majors - players must hit a double to start each leg as well as to finish. This "double-in, double-out" format completely changes the game and often produces surprise results.
The double-start requirement means players can't simply race to 501 with their usual scoring. A player averaging 100 in the normal format might struggle to find that opening double, allowing weaker finishers to stay competitive. It rewards the most accurate double-hitters.
Phil Taylor won six World Grand Prix titles, but the tournament has since been shared among multiple champions. The passionate Irish crowds at the Citywest create a brilliant atmosphere, making it one of the most enjoyable events on the calendar for players and fans alike.
