About the Treble 20 Challenge
The treble 20 is the most important target in darts. It's where you'll aim for the vast majority of your scoring shots, and your consistency on this target has the biggest impact on your three-dart average.
This challenge gives you 30 darts to throw at the treble 20. Record each throw honestly and the game will calculate your hit rate, total score, and three-dart average.
Understanding Your Results
Professional players typically hit the treble 20 around 40-50% of the time. Club players usually sit between 20-30%, while beginners might be around 10-15%. Don't be discouraged if your percentage is low – consistent practice is the only way to improve.
Tips for Improvement
- Focus on your technique – A consistent throw is more important than a powerful one.
- Find your rhythm – Take a breath between throws and maintain a steady pace.
- Track your progress – Use this game regularly to measure your improvement over time.
- Analyse your misses – Are you consistently missing left, right, high, or low? Adjust accordingly.
